Founded 1909 The State Heraldic Museum is the first and the oldest of its type of museum in the world. A place is Dublin with a collection of old coins, stamps, flags, porcelain, banners and decorated shields, with a number of coats of arms and family crests. Its exhibits and representations are about heraldry in Ireland and Europe over the centuries. State heraldic Museum is a part of the National Library and located within the grounds of the National Library.
