The Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital is one of the largest providers of women and infant health care in the Republic of Ireland. It's a voluntary teaching hospital located in Dublin that provides a range of medical services to both women and newborn infants. Over 8,000 mothers give birth in the hospital every year. In addition to clinical experience, the hospital provides training to three colleges: University College Dublin, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Trinity College, Dublin.

The National Maternity Hospital, popularly known as Holles Street Hospital, is one of the largest maternity hospitals in Ireland. The hospital is located at the eastern corner of Merrion Square, at its junction with Holles Street and Lower Mount Street in Dublin. The hospital delivers over 7,000 babies per year and is the national referral centre for complicated pregnancies and premature or sick infants. The number of births it handles has increased by 50 percent since the early 1990s.

Rotunda Hospital, formally known as the Hospital for the Relief of Poor Lying-in Women, is a maternity hospital located on Parnell Street in Dublin, Ireland. The hospital has been in operation since 1745, making it the oldest continuously operating maternity hospital in the world. It is estimated that over 300,000 babies have been born at the Rotunda Hospital. The hospital is also notable for being a training centre affiliated with Trinity College Dublin.
