Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Scheme:.

The ECCE Scheme offers 3 hours of daily care, 5 days a week, for 38 weeks in a year.
All children are entitled to two full academic years on the ECCE Scheme.
Children become eligible to join the ECCE Scheme in September of the year they turn three and continue until they transition to primary school, as long as they are under 5 years and 6 months old at the end of the pre-school year.
